AI can be genuinely useful when you are juggling flights, neighborhoods, hotels, restaurant ideas, loyalty points, family needs, and a dozen “what if we changed this?” questions. It is also very easy to keep everything in one endless conversation until the chat starts to feel less like a planning assistant and more like a junk drawer.
Maybe you began with “no early flights because we have kids,” then later explored cheaper departures. Maybe you asked for a quiet neighborhood, flirted with a nightlife district, then changed your mind. Maybe you compared three destinations, rejected two, and the AI keeps sneaking old assumptions back into the plan.
At that point, the best move is not always another correction. It may be time to stop the old chat, extract the current truth, and restart with a clean brief.
This is not about abandoning the work you have done. It is about rescuing it.
